Water scarcity is a serious challenge in Arid and Semi-Arid regions which affects the quality of life and livelihood of the residents. Early in 2017, AQUA A.I identified the dire need for clean and safe water in Mulenyu Primary School.

Shomela Primary School

Shomela Primary and Secondary Schools are located in the Magarini sub-county, Kilifi County. Magarini is one of the driest regions in Kilifi that barely receives adequate rainfall. The schools initially shared water from only 20,000-liter tanks which had unfortunately broken.
